Dennis and Carol Demuth

Dennis M. Demuth, Ph.D., has been involved in Christian education since 1972. Dr. Demuth has served in many different positions including teacher, school psychologist, principal, Superintendent of Schools, educational consultant, Minister of Education, Director of Christian Education, and Director of Development and Information Services. He has taught at several institutions of higher education and has served as an adjunct professor in the College of Education at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK since 1982.

His book, Legal Requirements for Christian Schools, is being used by Christian schools in all 50 states. Other works include Recruiting Strategies for Christian Schools, Christian School Administration: How to Get a School Going and Keep It Growing, Spirit Directed Discipline: Helping Johnny and Susie to Behave, Christian School Insights and Spirit-Directed Education.

The School  Management Guide on CD and Parent/Student Handbook on CD are some of the most requested administrative works. His latest revisions include legal commentary and implementation strategies. 

​

He is a contributor author to “The Community Spirit magazine” in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a featured speaker at national and international Christian school conferences.

​

Since 1985, until his retirement in 2016, Dr. Demuth has been actively involved in the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA) and AdvancEd. He has recently retired after 35 years as Superintendent of Schools at Victory Christian School, Tulsa, OK and 49 years in education and serves as a consultant to Christian school ministries.
 
His wife, Carol M. Demuth, Ed.D., received her degree in higher education administration from Oklahoma State University. She has been active in Christian education for many years, serving as teacher and administrator. She also was an adjunct assistant professor for the College of Education at Oral Roberts University. She has co-authored several books with her husband. Dr. Demuth has two married children and six grandchildren.
