This book contains over 113 inspirational and practical topics in 269 pages. This is a most have resource for every Christian educator.
Merriam-Webster defines “insight” as “the power or act of seeing into a situation.” Throughout the Gospels, Jesus provided insight to his disciples, whether it was explaining the meaning of a parable, sharing events that were about to happen, or providing the understanding of a specific cause and effect in a specific context. All of us at one time or another will face situations when we need to recognize what is happening, and what to do next. Knowing that others have gone through the same situation and have succeeded is an inspiration to motivate our own success story.
We trust that the insights that we share will provide motivation for success in your own life, in your classroom, and school. We can all learn from one another. “Although we all should learn from our experiences, both good and bad, there’s no good reason to keep reinventing the wheel. Rather than learning from your own experiences, it is far more efficient to learn from someone else’s. Although experience may be a good teacher, someone else’s experience is a far better teacher. Many other people have been down the route you are traveling. While it may not be the exact same path, they have encountered and solved many of the same problems you may be facing. By using their experiences as a starting point, you accelerate your progress” (Brian Golden, “Learn from the Experiences of Others”).
The Insights contained in this single volume reflect situations faced at Victory Christian School. Each presentation followed prayer and listening to what the Spirit of God wanted to share with the staff. Many topics were created as a series and were resented over several weeks.
Christian School Insights may be read as a devotional. There are 18-20 Insights per chapter which is enough for two per month during the school year. There is a total of 112 Insights. A comprehensive index can be used to look up topics that may be of interest for Christian educators who are dealing with similar concerns.
